Hi, I’m Ryan. I’m a web developer, a residential care worker, and a lifelong Islander. Born in Victoria and now proud to call Port Alberni home, I’ve spent my career helping people—whether that’s in a shelter environment or by building high-performing digital tools for local businesses.
After graduating from North Island College in 2024 with a diploma in Web Design and Development, I launched Ryan’s Web Solutions. My goal is simple: to help Vancouver Island businesses grow by providing clean, modern, and mobile-friendly websites that actually work for them.
In my work as a residential care worker, I’ve learned that clear communication and empathy are just as important as technical skill. When we work together, you aren’t just getting a coder; you’re getting a partner who listens to your goals and explains the “tech stuff” in plain English.
Whether you need a brand-new site or a refresh of your current one, I bring the same focus and dedication to your project that I do when I’m guarding the net in our local men’s hockey league.
When I’m not at my desk (likely tinkering with my Ryzen 9/RTX 3060 setup), you can usually find me:
At the Rink: I’m a huge Vancouver Canucks fan and play goalie in the local men’s league.
On the Field (Spiritually): I’m a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan—Fly Eagles Fly!
With the Pack: Keeping up with my 13-year-old tabby, Bella, and my two dogs, Philly (the Shepherd/Rottweiler cross) and Bruce Lee (my Bulldog/St. Bernard mix).
I believe in supporting our local economy and building lasting relationships right here on the Island.
